Hi guys and girls, for some time I had in mind the ideea of a cluster pc and I thought "why shouldn't I try it too" , since I discovered some old motherboards and sdrams , cpus and other components in some boxes in my house. The single problem (except that I have to test each one to make sure it works and if not, to make it work ) is that I do not know if they are compatible ( I read on an article that the motherboards has to have a technology, I don't remember it's name).
I have the following motherboards so far:
Maxtone 94v-0(socket 370, sdram)
Ibm 25p4983(socket 370, sdram, it can be plugged into a pci port of another motherboard but so far I do not know how this will work)
Compaq 166813-001(socket 370, sdram)
AMD 775-A2 rev 1.0a(socket 754 , ddr1, that just beeps when I start it... i have to resolve this...)
I know that the cluster won't be that good but I make this just for fun and experience.
Do you think this will work?

You need to have a PXE (Preboot execution environment) capable network card and your BIOS has to have boot from LAN capability, at least from what I've seen. It may be that's only for a specific type of cluster pc but I've not read anything that indicates that. If those boards have onboard LAN that has PXE capability and the BIOS has the ability to boot from LAN, I suppose you could.
