Ive decided to go for a BenQ XL 2411t monitor with my build
at first id chosen the Nvidia GTX 770
but after some research i found out that 770 is not going to be sufficient to keep the framerate above 60 fps
so do you think that it is worth taking the leap from the 770 to the 780?
or should i stick with the 770 and save the money
even though i don not prefer AMD cards
but suggestions for AMD cards are also welcome if i can get better performance at the same or lesser price

CPU-i5 4690k
MoBo-Z97 MSI Gaming 5
PSU- Seasonic M12ii 850w
RAM-Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mhz

Solution
Definitely start with GTX780 or R9-290 for this. In both cases choose custom cooling solutions, many guys will say that the radeons run hot... a GTX780 will run just as hot as a 290, Asus DirectCU II , MSI Twin Frozr, E-VGA ACX , Sapphire Tri-x/vapor-x / Gigabyte Windforce.. all very good cooling solutions for either of the cards.

Nvidia tech ...there are 3 games that have Phys-x , G-sync is only optional if you actually buy a new monitor with G-sync, CUDA .. even Adobe Premiere has support for OpenCL now , Shadowplay has it`s version in DVR on AMD...

Mostly get the cards for the performance ... 780ti is way more expensive, the 290x vs 290 though the X version is faster, the card is not that much faster to make for the money they charge on the card.

The 290 is definitely a good (if not the best) deal, but the 290X performs faster than the 780 at around the same price. That's why I'm mentioning it. There are also other nVidia technologies (ones that are actually sometimes useful) like Adaptive Vsync, TXAA, CSAA and all sorts of other random stuff.
