the water you put in your radiaor goes in a motor instead of on the ground does that mean the heads are cracked

probably a head gasket failure, engine probably needs a rebuild

This problem doesn't mean a rebuild. It could be a cracked head or block but those are usually internal leaks. OP could have anything from a bad coolant hose, water pump, frost plug, sensor leak, or a head gasket leak.
