GTX 770 or r9 280x direct CU ii

Hello all!
I want to get a new GPU to play games like Battelfield 4, Wild Star, SC2, League of Legends, but i dont know which to get. I like the price of the R9 280x Direct cu II, but i dont really know how are the AMD drivers at the moment. If they suck i will go 100% for the GTX 770 2gb. Ive also heard that the new games tend to use more than 2 gb of gram.
I will also start editing in PP, Adobe AE and Photoshop (the latest versions). Is it true that the guys from Adobe are optimizing the latest versions to use OpenCL?
My specs:
CPU: Intel i7 4790k
Motherboard: Asus Z97 C
RAM: Hyper X 8gb (4x2) 2400 MHz CL11
PSU: Seasonic M12II-850 EVO Edition Bronze

Both drivers suck. Nvidia and AMD both have driver problems.
The 3GB vram is one benefit of the R9 280X but gTX 770 has Gsync, physx and game stream etc...

AMD drivers are by far the worst, not installing CCC helps diminish the problems but is hardly a cure.

Now do you mean stock 770 or aftermarket? I'd go 770, less power hungry

If you go with the 280x, dont go with Asus. Take Gigabyte or something with decent cooling. Performance wise there is no noticeable difference between the 280x and gtx770. I have the Asus R9 280x dc2t. Never had any problems with the drivers but it overheats easily. This showing as artifacting. A 100MHz downclock for the memory fixed it for me. This also somehow increased the performance which i think was caused by instability with the stock clock speeds.
