My Palit GTX 650 Ti 2gb is broken. Please help

My CPU is: AMD Athlon 2 X3 450 already overclocked to Phenom x4 3.2ghz
Asus motherboard M5a78(or75)m L X
4GB Kingston RAM
Current GPU: Inno 3D GT 430
CoolerMaster (I don't know the exact watts. What do you think?)

I bought a new GTX 650 ti 2gb ram for me to play BF 3 smooth. I installed it and never updated via online, but on CD. It went well. I played Ghost Recon and Bf 3 without lag or slowing down.

However, after a month or two. The display went black. DVI, HDMI, and VGA isn't working. But I hear my windows 7 startup music.

When I downgraded to GT 430, it displayed well. No error.

When I reinstalled my GTX 650 ti, no display at all.

My friend told me that my power supply isn't sufficient to power up my GTX 650 ti. I wished he could have told me before he recommended me that gpu.. Idon't know the exact power watts of my PSU. He said 100 watts. what do you think so?

What do you think happened?

How many watts of PSU do you recommend before I buy R9 280x? I'm planning to buy Intel i5, and Asus z87 A. 8GB ram 2 sticks.

have you tried taking the 650 out and un installing the drivers
i had problems and after uninstalling drivers and re installing it was ok

I already did that.
FIrst I replaced it with my old GT 430 and installed GT 430's cd driver.
Then replaced my GT 430 with 650 ti, but the 650 ti won't display anything. Just black.,

have you looked if in devices and printers if windows hasnt changed settings after updating my grafx few weeks ago i thought i was having a driver problem after uninstalling and still having problem windows had changed display settings so once i reset it worked ok
