Hello, bought my PC a few years ago and I'm trying to upgrade the graphics card to something like this. Already have a monitor on the way for the better card
This is my current setup:
ASUS P8Z77-V LE LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000
ANTEC_EARTHWATTS_750_GREEN
CORSAIR Vengeance 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Western Digital WD Black WD5003AZEX 500GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
EVGA 02G-P3-1559-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Antec 900-2 Case
Not really sure if my setup can just accept any card.. it's been a while since I've upgraded a PC.
Will the motherboard/ram/cpu/powersupply work with a higher end graphics card? If not what else should I get along with the card?
Would it be better to use my old graphics card for my old monitor and the new card for my new monitor? Or just use my new card for both monitors?
Side question: If I were to get a PS4 and wanted to use my PC speakers for it along with my PC what would be an easy solution?
Sorry if I did the formatting wrong or something else, first upgrade post
Thanks
