I am planning to upgrade my current basic monitor which is a 19" Samsung SyncMaster SA100.
I'm torn between Viewsonic VX2370s or an Asus VX239h. I did some research on the displays but only the viewsonic model has a lot and in-depth review unlike the asus model which only got a couple. On paper the asus got a little (?) advantage, it got 50million more contrast ration, viewsonic's response time is 4 to 7ms and the asus got a flat 5ms and some other "propriety"/gimmicky features but the viewsonic is cheaper.
So, what do you guys think? I'm open to other display suggestion.
It will be used on heavy gaming, movies and then web surfing. A display that has unnoticeable input lag and response time to perceive smooth movement. Not going pro on gaming.
Just a good bang for the buck IPS gaming display.
