lightweight long life windows laptop under $850

Hi,

Looking for laptop recommendations. I'll be using this almost exclusively on my lap, so it needs to be light and not run hot-- if possible, not have its fan vent on the bottom, since it's on my lap.
-under $850
-at least 5 hrs of battery life
-under 6 lbs
-LOTS OF RAM. I need to open and quickly skim large pdfs (books and journal articles) in-browser for work, sometimes as much as a different PDF every two minutes. How much RAM would you suggest for this?
-I'd prefer at least 14" screen and a backlit keyboard
-touchscreen would be great
-mostly need it for work and hobbies (learning to code, learning web design, photography/photoshop, occasional streaming video)

I see vents on both bottom and sides, you could check for reviews to see if anyone mentions how hot it gets on your lap and other pros/cons like battery life. Hardware should meet your needs, though.

Claims up to 7 hours battery life. The Core i7 4510U is more power-conscious than the 4700MQ, which will help battery life and hopefully produce less heat. It is weaker, though. The Lenovo also offers 1920x1080 max resolution vs. the 1366x768 of the Toshiba.

Thanks to the two helpers. Went out last night and bought a Lenovo Yoga 2 13. Some compromise in the screen size I wanted, but touch screen and all the other requirements answered well, at a refurb price of $599. Not bad!
