I recently got a new Graphics Card (nVidia GTX 750) so I watched a few tutorials on how to install a new graphics card... When I installed my graphics card (it fit perfectly fine) my PC did't boot up the screen was completely black only 1 long beep and 2 short beeps :( . So I decided to put my OLD graphics card in (nVidia GT 660) but the same thing happend :( . I didn't see a power input so i don't think it's that... I have no idea what happend so if you know what might be the problem please reply :) .

Did you uninstall the old drivers before putting the new card in? that might have screwed it up.

If it doesn't have a power supply the fan wouldn't turn on right? Which it did...

I know this might not necessarily be the most helpful of answers, but you didn't accidentally knock any other cards/RAM you had mounted into the motherboard, right?

I unmounted and remounted my CPU cooler at one point and in so doing, I had pressed one of the eject clips at the end of a stick of RAM, bringing it out just enough to cause this beeping issue.

Might want to crank open that case and give the RAM chips (and any other cards nearby) a gentle but steady push in. If you hear a 'click' for any of them, that might have solved your problem.

Give it a whirl- won't take much time and you can at least tick off the 'improperly mounted chips/cards' from your list.

Let us know how it goes. Also check that there are no obstructions inside the PCI slot.

All the PCI Slots seem to be unobstructed...

No, because when you start up the graphics card, the drivers are what, well, drive them. Go into safe mode (after BIOS screen repeatedly hit F8) with the old graphics card. Uninstall the old drivers. The resolution should go to 800*600 or something like that. Power down, put the new graphics card in. It should still be 800*600 if it worked. Then install the drivers, and you're good to go.

If your computer is giving you multiple beeps at startup it means that your computer isn't passing the POST or Power On Self Test feature. You'll want to re-seat or remove and replace the other components i.e. ram, any other add on cards such as wireless cards, sound cards, etc. then add them back one at a time and then try to get the computer to post after each item is installed this way you can determine if it's a single stick of ram or another peripheral that's causing the issue. Also if you have any external devices such as usb, eSATA drives, mice, keyboards, KVM switches hooked up go ahead and remove them also and start adding them back once at a time to see if it's a peripheral that's causing the no POST issue. If you remove them all and it still won't post the most likely issue is going to be a dead motherboard. ***VERY IMPORTANT*** When you are working on your computer and touching any of the internal components you MUST make sure your power cable is unplugged and you are standing on or sitting on a chair on a hard surface floor (no carpet as electrostatic discharge can short out components). Also see the checklist I have included with this to try to isolate the issue. Hope this helps!

Not uninstalling the drivers might cause it to crash when it gets to windows but will not cause a failure to POST

I agree about checking the RAM first
