Hello everyone. I am looking to build a new Gaming PC, and I have about $1,000 to spend, plus I will be getting a monitor. After surfing the internet for days trying to come up with the cheapest setup with the most "bang for your buck" parts I could find, I think it would be better to ask a community dedicated to computer hardware. So, I need a whole new computer: Motherboard, Graphics Card, RAM, CPU, Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Power Supply, and of course a Case!

So, I would like to start a thread to find out the best computer I could build with $1,000. As I stated, I will be getting a monitor separately, so I want to hear what everyone can come up with, and why you think your suggestion is the best $1,000 solution.

Thanks in advance everyone, I can't wait to see what gets brought up!
