Noob Question About Cable Extensions

Hey guys, quick question and I'm sure this is answered in about 1000 (almost literally) different areas, but I cannot find it myself yet, probably because I don't know what to search.

I am going to do a new build here in about a week, and will be putting the order in tomorrow.

I am looking to buy some of the cable extensions I see a lot of people use, preferably white. However, I'm unsure as to which I will need. The two component cables that will be visible in my build are the GPU cables and the main motherboard cables.

If it matters, here are the components that could determine your answer:

Case: NZXT H440
GPU: EVGA Nvidia 770
Motherboard: Asus Z97 Pro

I'm almost ashamed to ask this question, but I figure one of you guys could answer this in a second.

Based on my research and the spec sheets I assume I need:
6 Pin PCI e Power
8 Pin PCI e Power
24 Pin Motherboard Extension Cable

Additionally, what length would you recommend?

Thank you very much for your time and help.

If you are going with extension cables i'd go with the white BitFenix Alchemy cables. As for length it doesn't really matter. Really what you should do is sleeve your own cables. It's not too hard. Here are some guides

MDPC do some of the best sleeving, but it is expensive and hard to work with. Flexi PET is much easier to work with and much cheaper, but the weave isn't as thick. You can also use 550 Paracord, you just remove the 'core threads' and then tape your pins so they don't get caught. With paracord, you can melt the ends so you don't need to use heatshink for a really professional look, however if you do use paracord and heatshink, you'll need a little more heatshrink than with MDPC or flexi PET as it doesn't grip as well.

Another member told me that Lutro0 has his own sleeving which is apparently as good as MDPC which you can find here, but whenever i've checked it's sold out

He also alerted me to Lustr0's heatshrinkless method which I had not heard about other than with Paracord
