So this is a very specific problem and posting this is my absolute last resort.
I built a new computer for my friend.
Asus Z87-Pro MB,
16GB G.Skill RAM,
Gigabyte GTX 760 4GB,
i5 Intel QC 3.5 gHz CPU and
750 watt Ultra PSU.

It worked like a CHARM the first time i turned it on. Went right to the windows install and was about half way done. It turned off and reset which i thought was a part of the install. Turns out the CPU had overheated because I put too much thermal paste. Cleared it out, tried again. The computer started turning on and off repeatedly by itself.Cleared the paste AGAIN, which brings us to the problem I have now: Computer turns on, and stays on. No video on monitor, DRAM LED light is solid red. I have nooooo clue whats going on here. The thing that gets me the most is that it worked once. Ive literally never seen or heard of this happening to a computer.

Try to do a clear cmos,in the manual for your motherboard will be explained which way to do this and which jumper to use.
You could try the "mem ok" button as well.Again look at the manual for that one.
