1- Asus ROG MAXIMUS VII HERO < very nice motherboard
2- Intel Core i7 4790 3.6GHz 8MB < I always found that these are over priced I would say go for an I5 4690k save yourself huge profit
3- ASUS GeForce GTX760 OC 2GB < with the money saved on the CPU go for either a GTX 780 or a R9 280x
4- Kingston HyperX FURY Blue HX316C10F/8 8G Single DDR3 1600MHz Desktop Ram < I usually stick to Vengance RAM but this is fine
5- Coolermaster Vanguard S (RS650-AMAAG1-AU) 650Watt 80+ Gold Semi-Modular Power Supply Unit < yeah I can agree with this maybe go 750W for future upgrades posibility
6- WD 3.5" Green 2TB WD20EZRX 64M SATA3 HDD< get a 120gb SSD for your OS then a 1TB HDD for other stuff
7- ASUS Black 24x DVD-RW Writer Retail < nothing much to say about optical drives maybe Blue-ray ?
8- Thermaltake CL-F009-PL12BU-A Luna12 120mm Blue LED Case Fan (x2)< fine
9- Coolermaster Nepton 140XL RL-N14X-20PK-R1 Universal Ultra High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler < very nice keep this is you think you can handle the maintenance that comes with Water-cooling

2. Getting an i7 is overkill for a GTX 760. Yes, you'd be able to keep the CPU for more years, but at the moment it's a pretty big cash sink without noticeable returns over an i5-4690K.

5. Never heard of that PSU so I don't know the construction quality, but 650w is easily enough as far as wattage is concerned.

6. The WD Green drives are meant for low power consumption and durability - not speed. They're good for their intended purpose (servers and back-ups) but typically a faster drive is recommended for gaming.

9. I wouldn't want to bother with liquid cooling.

Don't really want to spend to much because I'm a console man. Mostly be playing dayz, arma 3 (Altis life, breaking point and battle royal), cs go, sims, minecraft, gmod the games that dont release on console.

-Ok I'll get i5 4690K only if it's good as the i7 4790
-WD black 1TB
-Cooler master v750 psu
-ASUS ROG STRIKER-GTX760-P-4GD5 4GB GTX760 PCI-E VGA Card any good? I don't want to spend to much on a graphics card and the rog striker is better than standard gtx760 and it looks sexy. Had a look at gtx780 and those cards are dear considering I won't be playing my gaming pc 24/7 also not playing on ultra setting probably on high setting to get better FPS.

Let me know if any good
Cheers your help has been very helpful

If you don't want to spend too much the I5 4690 is an amazing CPU also with graphics I would recommended looking at the sapphire R9's such as the 270, 270X or the new ones like 280 or 290 depending on how much you want to spend, 4Gb is also a lot of graphics if you are only playing mid to low end games I would say go for a 2Gb card as these only require 1 6 pin power supply where most 4Gb require 2 6pin power supplies
