Is my GPU too hot?

Hi, i recently bought a Asus R9 280x TOP edition graphics card. After around half an hour of gaming the gpu could reach temps of 70 degrees in some cases. Are those temps okay?

I haven't reached that hot yet even in summer baking heat, never went past 68°C, but yeah, yours are okay, but some measures for additional airflow are recommended!

okay thanks, i was just worried as my case has a good airflow and i was still getting these temps but i bumped up the fan speeds and it keeps it around 65 degrees now

sorry just one more quick question, i wanna upgrade from a FX6300 cpu to a FX 8350. i am currently using a corsair CX600 psu. will i have to upgrade the psu aswell to a greater wattage?

Check the supported CPU list for your mobo, you can find out there if it can run, the PSU is usually not the problem.

And you might need some aftermarket cooling.

My mobo supports a 8 core proccessor and i already have an aftermarket cooler so there is no problem there

Then there is no problem, period. Your PSU will struggle though, but I think it can handle it.
