Benq Monitor really slow alt tabbing from games.

I have recently did a fresh install of windows 7 and purchased a new benq second monitor and when i go and play a game and what to tab out alt tab takes about 5 seconds to get to the windows desktop screen. Originally i thought it was because games had the refresh rate at 120hz and desktop refresh rate was 60hz but both are set to 120hz and all my drivers are up to date. I have searched around the forums and cant find a solution if anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated

Quick Edit i apologize but if anyone knows how to turn off the windows pop up that tells me windows is running slow while playing a game would also be greatly appreciated.

what cpu and gpu do you have?

Your comouter is running slow, and all the memory is being used up so when you alt tab, it's slower when you have lots of applications running in the background and not enough ram or cpu left, happens with me with lol
