290 vapor-x OC vs 290x vapor-x

Hi guys, what is your opinion on the performance difference between the 290 vapor-x OC and the 290x vapor-x?

Is it worth the extra money? Obviously the less money the better but I still want to get the most bang for my buck.

I will be running it on an i5 4690k @ 4.2

You can get whichever you want.
There's not much difference between them.
You should also check the XFX R9 290 Double Dissipation.Also a fantastic card and it comes cheaper than both of those.

I decided to go with the 290 vapor-x OC, I have heard really good things about the cooler on it

Both are probably the best versions of the 290. I have the Tri-X and am very happy with the temps and noise.

The Vapor-x has an added cooling chambers which cools it a couple more degrees.
If the prices are close, I would get it...but you will probably not see much difference between the two other than the color.
