Reliable, Reliable and Good Card!

Hello Guys;

I have built my rig a week ago spending good amount of money to have fun playing games in HD. But couldn't enjoy that moment when I finished assembling the machine as I was able to play BF3 for only 5 min then disgusting flickers and artifacts filled up the screen. I have Sapphire R9 280X vapour card; a really nice card in performance but their technical support advised me to go for RMA as I have tried tones of drivers and tweaking methods but no success to resolve the issue.

I was looking at that brand and that particular model and it seems that they have a lot of issues, so i was thinking about avoiding that brand and model and go for something reliable and good in performance!

I want to have fun, not to waste my time figuring out which driver would solve artifacts/flickering/black or blue screen of death. I want it stable, reliable and good in performance with least headache.

So, Can you please suggest what NVIDIA model should I get and what brand is most reliable ? (something that would match r9 280x in performance and price 350USD).

the system sepcs:
- Intel i7 4790
- Asus H97 Pro motherboard.
- Sapphire R9 280x vapour-x 3GB OC.
- Corsair Vengeance RAM 8 GB @ 1600 MHz.
- 1 TB Seagate HDD Sata 6.0Gbps
- FSP Aurum Pro 850 WAT.
- Corsair R200 Case + Coolermaster EVO 212.

Looking forward for your advice.

For $350 or less you'd be looking at the 2GB Asus version of the GTX 770. It performs a bit better than the R9 280X (albeit for a much higher cost), and Asus is typically considered one of the most reliable brands.
