Hello everyone. I have Dell Inspiron N5010 Intel Core i5 2.53 Ghz 6GB ram ATI Mobility Radeon HD550 1 gb with Windows 7 Ultimate installed. The laptop is works perfectly but today I started the windows and nothing appears on the screen. And the BIOS beeps 8 times. I think this is problem with the GPU. I disassemble the laptop and dont know what to do. How I can know if my GPU is broken or not. Before 3 mounths I clean up and spread a termo paste Arctic Cooling MX-2 on the procesor and Gpu. And before today I had no problems. What can I do?

It's likely the video card is bad, you would need to replace the motherboard.

Let it cool and see if it starts, try updating the video card drivers if it starts up. Although I doubt that will help, or at least not help for long.
