Hello everyone

I'm trying to decide which graphic card should I buy, eithe "EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Superclocked"
or "MSI AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB"
But only these specific cards
I've tried to compare them by my self but I cant still device what's better the evga seems to have better clocks and MSI is better with memory. Could someone with a greater knowledge compare the specs of both and recommend which to get?

EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Superclocked

One more thing, my Motherboard is SLI compatible so I don't know is AMD is still worth it.

Thank you so much

Either is good, the R9 290 is slightly better than the GTX 770 in general. I've had really good experiences with EVGA though and definitely will stay with them. The 290 will run hotter and use more wattage than the 770, but Crossfire or SLI is completely up to you. You will have fan boys tell you one is way better than the other, but to honest, Crossfire is still working out kinks and SLI is pretty good about not having any. This is only due to SLI being the older and more mature tech. Now if you want to hook multiple panels up, then the 290 is the better option due to the higher vram.

Thanks for the info

Well I'm not planing on using multiple gpu's at the moment maybe in the future. Its just my Motherboard supports SLI so if i want multiple SLI is the way for me. So I still find it hard to decide if I should go overall more powerful or SLI possible.

thanks

In most cases getting one high powered card vs SLI/Crossfire is preferred. This is unless your trying to push games for maximum performance for high resolutions like 1440p or 4K or if you are just trying to get the same performance of a better card out of two or more cheaper cards. Some get multiple GPUs because its aesthetically pleasing as well or they bit coin/lite coin mine and need the extra power for that. Some just get them to push overclocking boundaries and scores in stress tests/benchmarks.

Unless your going extreme, I recommend just one good card. Two or more its preferred to look into additional cooling options for better efficiency.
