Corsair RM850W high temperature

My rig:
intel Xeon E3-1230V2
RAM 4G*4
GTX 660*2
HDD*4 (2 of them is IDE)
PSU: Corsair RM850W

I found my power supply is very hot even when low system load, and because of the quiet design, the fan won't spin until PSU load is over 40%. Is it normal that PSU always this hot

probably around 50℃ i think, cant find a tool to measure it

if it is actually overheating, this is a known problem for the higher wattage rm series. the fan doesnt spin up fast enough. this problem was fixed though, so unless you got an older model without the firmware update (or whatever they did) it will do that.

anyway, 50c is pretty normal. if it gets to 80 or so then you worry
