just wanted to get this out there to help others. my netgear needed to be rebooted about 4 times a day, i read a post that said to go into the router configuration and go back to the default settings. I tried this and so far for two days solid, no drop (never had this work solid for so long so far so good, it's been going on for a while). my frustration is going away.
 
Glad the default settings are working better for you.

I would also encourage you to look on the Netgear website for a firmware upgrade and make sure you are using the latest one. That may help the stability as well.
