The i5-4440 computer doesn't have a graphics card, it's just the integrated graphics.

I would get the i5-4440 computer, and get an R9 270 with it.

The i5 is all around a much better CPU, with much better single thread performance, and performance in games is going to be better.

Just make sure that the motherboard in the Intel one can take a graphics card... I would really recommend building your own computer.

If you are not going to upgrade anything, then the FX 6300 computer is better by far.

If you are going to add a discrete gpu like Zircoben suggested, then the i5 pc edges it out. This takes the price up of course...

And finally, another vote for building your own computer. Cheaper, better quality components, and not difficult at all. Once mastered, you will never know why you didn't do it before.

Im not going to build one its easy but im not also im not going to add a graphic card or ram any time soon maybe in a year or two soo which one my budget is 550$ soo im not going to get a R9 Even though its fast, cool looking soo ya :( :)

SO no graphic card, ram, or a new CPU the pre=built ones are going to stay untouched

I wouldn't get either. You're being ripped off either way.

The i5 is the better CPU however it completely lacks a dedicated graphics card.

The FX has a video card, but it's extremely outdated. Instead, they're giving you 16GB of RAM that you'll never fully use.

If I was forced to choose between the 2, I'd take the i5, but I personally wouldn't touch either with a 10ft pole. In either case your FPS is going to be quite poor, I wouldn't even see recording as being an option most of the time.

For $550 bucks you can build a good gaming pc, if you dont know how to build it, you can always ask a friend or something. But bwtween those two, the one ith the fx6300 and the gt 640 will get you better results, you'll be able to play and record at 720p and medium-low settings.

That pc that you listed should perform better than the other two that you posted.

That build is actually a really good deal. I personally would rather build my own build with the same money, even if it cost a bit more.

But, if you want a prebuilt, as long as you have a single 1080p monitor, you should be able to game and record on lower settings with this build, and the FX-8100 will help with those mutli-threaded workloads and games like BF4, but that really is a very weak CPU. Expect the CPU to become a bottleneck if you ever upgrade the graphics card or start to game in really CPU intensive games, especially ones that aren't very well threaded.

The other issue with prebuilts is that they always cut corners on the components. Don't expect the power supply to last 5 years don't expect the motherboard to overclock, and don't expect the case to be any quality.

But overall, if you really don't want to build a computer yourself, you are getting a pretty good computer for your money here.

Hope that helps :)

+1 to this. $420 bucks for that build is a killer deal, considering that it already has an OS.

This build is better on the graphics side, and a little better on CPU single-thread performance, but besides that, it really isn't much better.

I would get it it purely because the OP says he isn't upgrading the graphics, and the HD 7770 is better than the R7 250. Remember, if you go with the HP you are losing having Windows 8.1 along with having 8 CPU threads which may be useful for recording.

You don't lose 8 cpu threads. The W3530 is essentially an i7 930. ;) Who cares about crappy Win 8.1 either?

Oh, my error. Ha, and I agree on Windows 8.1... Every time I see Aero on Windows 7 I cry inside because Windows 8.1 looks so terrible. :)

The R7 260X is basically the Radeon HD 7790, so maybe that helps put it into perspective. Better than the HD 7770 in the build recommended by Logainofhades, and about on par with a modern Nvidia GTX 750.

BEST SOLUTION! NICE FIND. Probably way better quality components (motherboard/PSU/RAM) than the others listed so far as well.

That motherboard is pretty bad, as far a 990FX boards go. A 970a-ud3p for a little less, would have been far better. Gigabyte does not make very good graphics cards. Love their motherboards though. SSD is nice, but more of a luxury. Would have bought a 1tb seagate drive and used savings towards GPU as well. 2133 ram is not necessary, but if price is close, it isn't an issue.

For comparison sake, here is basically your build, as listed.
