Hi all - I've been looking to build my own gaming PC (on a budget of about £500) for a while, however I can never decide on the parts, no matter how much research I do.
I'm not a mad gamer and I only have a select few that I will want to play on this PC, but I would like said games to run on the highest settings and with mods (including ENBs, texture packs and shaders), but with a minimum drop of 30fps. The main ones are Fallout 3, Minecraft and Half-Life 2.
Could anyone advise me on a rig that would play these games beautifully even with power-hogging mods, but all the while sticking with the budget? I would prefer Windows 7 for an OS, and hardware accessories such as a keyboard and monitor I already have.
