Solution
Hello!, I bought the last week an 990FXA-UD3 cos I had an ASUS M5A99X EVO R2. I had to RMA the ASUS because it has a weird problem with sli, I added a 2nd video card and my Audio chip stopped to work, after a fresh install, I could't manage to make work my onboard audio anymore.
I got a 2nd ASUS MOBO, and I got exactly the same problem after 3 months of work..

I can tell you, the Rev 4 of the gigabyte is great, have a nice looking, nice quality, new UEFI BIOS, and no overheat issues at all as I see, I have working an 8350 @4.5, and in the stress tests (AKA Prime95) I got a way way better overclock than with the asus, meaning my temps (core and socket) are not going above the 55° (CM V8GTS) In the Asus, with the same OC was overpassing...

The rev 4 has an extra heatpipe running through the NB so it might be better. However as I said I dont think I will be overclocking my cpu. Others have suggested a MSI 970 gaming, is there much difference in a 970 and 990?

Between those 2, I really recomend the Gigabyte, I had 2 asus of the same model as I said, the onboard audio died in both when I added an SLI CONFIG.
