Asus Z87-A asmedia chip scratched

Hi everyone

I was removing my gpu to clean it, and as I did it slipped from my grip and the I/O bracket scuffed the asmedia chip. It seems to boot up ok for now though, so I was just wondering if it's anything to worry about.

It should be ok. Just observe when the system is on that everything works properly and observe that the chip is not melting or swollen up. A light scratch should be fine.

Thanks for replying, and yeah everything seems to be in working order. It looks like it's just a surface mark and you can only see it from certain angles. It just scared me a bit that's all lol.
