Adding an additional power button to my build

Hi there, I am running the idea through my head about adding a second power button to my build. I am interested in a power button on the back of my case so that I can turn on my system from either side. (Yes I understand, this is odd) I am wondering how I would make this work as motherboards only have one connector for power buttons. Would it be as simple as buying a second power button and touching wires with the original power button? Sorry if that is a dumb idea, I really don't know anything about wiring. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated, thanks!

If you can find a way to splice the pair of wires from the front button to the wires from the rear button, it will work. They would have to be wired in parallel, not series.
