Need Assistance on upgrading my computer please help me?

Hey so i'm tired of my computer and need to add a graphics cards to the motherboard. I want a GeForce 8600 GS to my eMachines T5254. Here is the mobo: http://www.cradeal.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_in...
And if it doesn't work do I need to upgrade my Mobo? but which one?

To answer your questions simply, yes. You can put an 8600 with that mobo.

Do you really want to? now that's a different story. If you're just doing it because you like working with old computers that's cool, but if it is your main computer, I would save the money and start yourself a new computer fund. After 3-4 years (t5254 is going on 6) upgrading a prebuilt unit just isn't practical.

The GeForce 8600 GS is an old card and If I were you I would just do a complete upgrade of motherboard and graphics card and do what I do when upgrading use google to get reviews on cards and motherboards that I can afford to buy.

My last upgrade 12 months ago of a motherboard, graphics card and ram cost me $900
