First PC build. Looking for some advice. $1000 gaming build.

Would this run Battlefield 4, and games such as that okay?
I'm planning on ordering in a few days, and I have no experience at all with building computers, any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

Yea, that would be able to play dayz on med+ settings on good FPS...are you planning to overclock?

Yeah I'll more than likely overclock.

Get the 4690k since it runs cooler. Also, the PSU series aren't that good.

On BF4 ultra settings you'll average 42fps with that system
On high 67fps (see the charts below).

If you have it in the budget, upgrade your PSU. That one is an average psu, not really designed for high end gaming machines like the one you are building, especially if overclocking. Have a look at the XFX lineup. Great PSUs at decent prices.

Other than that minor change, great system!
