Intel soon to launch 5th generation broadwell !! But should I wait??

I am about to assemble a CPU and I wont be upgrading any component soon(except RAM)

I was going for i7 4770 @3.1ghz 4th generation haswel
but after reading about the new soon to launch 5th generation broadwell I am considering to wait.
*BUT it said to be only 5% better in terms of performance but is much smaller in size and would be really great for "mobile devices" (or is it only for mobile devices?)
But my cpu wont be mobile or anything ofcourse.
So is it worth waiting for.:??:
I wont be upgrading processor any soon.

Yeah right It has better heat output and what is better is always better.
will take this into consideration please also vote for your choice(ignore if done)

Broadwell is just a tock, so all it is really doing is dropping down another process node which will result in lower heat and less power for the same performance levels. Clock for clock they will perform very similarly, but the lower power often means they can turn the clock speed up more.

If you need a new computer soon go Haswell with an i7 4790 instead of a 4770, you can play the waiting game forever, the next big this is always just around the corner but in the end it really comes down to what is available when you feel you need a new system, Broadwell won't be out for a few more months yet.

Seems like that. please do vote (I will finally decide on its basis)
When do broadwell tend to release I could wait a couple months but not more than that.
THANKS AND EVERYONE PLEASE VOTE

it releasing this year so probably in a month or two. i agree with hunter to a degree but with it right there not years away even for the little more power it feels more worth it.
