Hi. I know this isn't what Toms is for but I'm at wits end trying to find a large computer desk for my home office. If anyone has any recommendations as to where I can look it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

IKEA, you can buy a large slab of wood with 4 legs for a reasonable price. At least this is my ideal computer desk, I don't like drawers, keyboard slide outs etc...

Adjustable keyboard trays are must have for me. That's why I'm still using the one I have. Small, but great.

If you can order from UK these do 1800 x 800 desks pretty cheap.

I'm pretty sure this is what I use for my desk, I guess it's technically a table but it looks and acts just like I need it to. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49932670/

I don't like keyboard trays I like to have my keyboard and mouse on the desk I feel it's more comfortable that way and I can rest my arms on the desk thanks though.

I won't be ordering from UK thanks though.

Burden- I have the same mentality as you when it comes to these desks. I plenty of two things, desk space and leg room. I like to have my monitor, speakers, mouse, keyboard, controller, a drink and sometimes other misc stuff on my desk. I'm also tall and have long legs so need the leg space. The desk you linked looks good and the price is great. I'm just not sure about the dimensions...

Product dimensions
Length: 59 "
Height: 29 1/8 "
Width: 29 1/2 "

I'm assuming taht by Length they mean width and by width they mean depth. If that is correct then that is very good for me. The height is sufficient as well.

I'm also currently looking at this desk http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50219044/ I like that it has cup holders and cut outs for the wires :)  (especially cup holders). They also say The high side panels help block sunlight and prevent distracting glare on your computer monitor which would be good for me as I have a lot of light coming in during the day and it becomes hard to see what's on the screen with all the glare.
The dimension of it look good but for the height they only give you the height of the desk with the shelves on top of it. I need to know how much leg room I'll have lol.

Anyway, per your recommendation I now have two possible desks to choose from and I just started looking at Ikea. I checked them before and did not find anything remotely sufficient, maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Thanks.

Because it's not categorized as a desk, it's a table.
