I would like to build a low budget gaming rig using intel and nvidia, can anyone suggest a repeatable online company preferably in Canada to save on shipping rates, and maybe give me some suggestions on some parts that may fit into my low budget of $500 give or take. Thanks guys.

Why not do it yourself. You usually get a better system out of it and it's very easy. A first time builder can easily be done in under 2 hours.

Yeah I was thinking about that but I have never even taken a computer apart before, lol, but do you think I could get an i7 processor and a decent graphics card, motherboard, power supply, case etc.. for around $500?

You can get something alright for $500 but you won't be getting close to an i7 if you want a GPU, they cost about $300 alone. But you probably don't need an i7. It's really only necessary for HD editing and rendering. Usually makes no difference over an i5 in gaming. That being said i'd probably go for an AMD FX series CPU. They are the best value for money and the most common CPU's you'll see in budget build on this site. I'll put a parts list together for you from Canadian sites.
