Ok so to start off i am building my first gaming computer. Im coming over from console gaming. Ive done my research (as best as i could) and here are the parts i came up with.
Haf 912 cooler master case
WD internal hard drive bare drive 500gb
Gtx 780 or 770..... i need help choosing which one
Evga psu 750w
G skill ripjaws x series 16gb (2x8gb)
EVGA z97 FTW motherboard
Intel i5 - 4690
So heres my question for you guys with experience. The games i would like to run the most are DayZ, minecraft and bioshock infinite. Would a gtx 770 be able to handle all those games or will i need the gtx 780? Also i just wanted to double check and make sure that all these parts are compatible with each other. Thanks for all your help and let me know what you think of the build. Any tips on parts would be appreciated. Thanks!

The GTX 780 has a very nice TDP, meaning it won't stress your power supply, and it outperforms the 770 by a mile. If you're looking into playing next-gen games like Crysis 3, or crappily optimized and overly demanding games like Watch Dogs, this is the card for you. For DayZ, Minecraft, and BioShock Infinite, which are all very old titles, a 770 will run them without a hitch, and easily at above 60 FPS.

Hope I helped!

Ok thank you, and would you happen to know if all those parts are compatible? And does my psu high enough wattage to supply enough energy?

Your PSU is perfect, your CPU will fit the Z97 socket, and everything seems to check out as far as compatibility goes. in other words, you're good to go!

Hope I helped!
