I am going to buy the LG 20M35D Monitor and I want to run games like GTA IV, Bully, Assassin's Creed I, II, III, COD 4 quite smoothly. Not very smooth but should not be lagging like hell. 35 - 40 fps. It should look good on this monitor. Suitable Resolution. So I am planning to buy the R7 240 2 GB DDR3 as it is of the highest price within my budget. Budget is around Rs. 5000 or 80 USD. Also, I was planning to buy the ASUS GT610 2GB DDR3 but its reviews dissapointed me. Please tell me if i should buy it or suggest me another card of that range.

Then get what you can afford. At 1600x900 resolution, you should be able to play most games at medium settings. Class A games, at maybe low settings... depending on the processor it has to work with.

You mean the DDR3 version? And Processor is Intel Pentium G2030.

But mother board is actually GA-H61M-DS2 rev 3.0
Add optical drive. That doesn't count to performance but still.

Yeah, go for it. Most R7-240 cards come with DDR3. You'd have to search out the DDR5 versions. But since most are DDR3, this vodeo probably pertains to you. Notice the screen rez is also 1600x900.
