Hey guys I am planning on building my first PC, and I have some questions as to which power supply I should go for. Blow are my options.

EVGA 600W 80Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply 3 Year Warranty Intel 4th Gen CPU Ready (100-B1-0600-KR)

Corsair Builder Series CX600 V2 600 Watt 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Power Supply (CP-9020048-US)

My CPU is the i5-4590 and my graphics card will be along the lines of the R9 280/285. With this build should I get a more expensive PSU? I would prefer to use the 2 above if they are sufficient but if they are not I can stretch for something like

Corsair CS Modular CS650M 650Watt 80 PLUS Gold Certified Power Supply

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply Modular

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1 80 Plus Gold Certified Power Supply, Intel 4th Gen CPU Certified 10 Year Warranty (120-G1-0650-XR)

Thanks for all your help!

Nope, you should be fine with a 650 watt PSU.
If you need to, you can get a 750 (they dont allow them at pdxLAN tho :(  )

man I would love to get that one, but it's not available to me, of the 4 up top is there one that will be enough to support my system?

Any one of the four you suggested will work. I just prefer the quality of EVGA products.

I would have to say the 650 G1, although it's a quad-rail unit, which I dislike. It's made by Super Flower, which beats all the other three OEMs in your list.

Wrong , the 650 G1 is a multirail made by FSP.

So of the 4 up there the 2 EVGAs seems to stand out? The G1 is quite a bit more expensive, is it necessary you think for me to upgrade to that?

Wait I think I also have the option for

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply Modular, how about this one?

Hey Blackbird, I just read the tier list for PSUs, it seems as tho all the cards I listed up there are tier 3 even the SuperNova 750 o.0 does that matter?

The Supernova B2 isn't a Tier 3 ..that's a different model.

If you'll be running high-end GPUs, I don't think a quad-rail unit will be enough unless you combine power from several rails...
