Okay, so my main problem is that when i record games it works fine during the recording part of it. Then when i got to watch the recording afterwards it starts to skip and lag every few seconds. one second its fine, and then the next it stops and skips ahead as if i was lagging in game, allthough in game i was running it fine with 0 lag at all sitting around 60fps. idk what to do about this problem or how to fix it in general so i figured id give this website a try to gain some opinions or some help. another thing is that i have tried most recording software such as fraps, dxtory, action, etc. they all do the same thing only while watching the recording not during the recording. any help?

Hello,

I guess it depends on the software you are using to record your gameplay. Since you've got an nVidia 650 ti you could try nVidia's Shadowplay software to record your games. It has much less impact on the hardware in compare with Fraps and the like.

^ Use Shadowplay. It's much better than fraps.

Btw, the 324mhz speed is your idle,2d, clocks.

Mostly irrelevant when describing your GPU,just a thought.

do extrenals choke on anything? like when recording does it even count as the pc using any ability towards it? as in like if im recording with an extrernal does it have any effect on the pc due to it being external? so its as if recording with a video camera in a way yes?
