Why cant i play arma 3

here are my computer specs
gtx 780 hall of fame
8gb 1600 mhz ram
asus crosshair v formula z
amd fx 8350
128 gb ssd
When i try to play arma 3 multiplayer on anything but wasteland i get less then 15 fps, its stupid. is my setup just not good enough?

Your setup should get you much more than 15 fps. Which PSU do you have?

Arma III is using the same horrible engine, despite it being upgraded as Arma II and Arma I and none of these games performed particularly well. Arma II on highest settings is still bad, although is pretty old game now.

I've seen a lot of forums with guides what settings to fiddle with to achieve best performance/quality in Arma III. There was something about the viewing distance (or whatever it's called) to have most impact on the FPS. Try reducing it to see if it helps.

i have a evga 600w psu, i overclocked the processor a bit (first time overclocking in my life) and its now at 4.4 ghz. when i play wasteland i get around 45 fps average, sometimes above 60 fps and sometimes as low as 25 fps. but when i try to play coop or king of the hill, It gets no higher then 20...
