Can't Change Multiplier on Core i5 2500K

Hello all,

The title says it all, but here are some specs to go along with my issue:
Motherboard: Asrock Z77 OC Formula (with latest BIOS 2.3)
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600
Homebuilt H2O cooling

I try to change the multiplier in the BIOS (er, UEFI) and the system reboots. I log in to Win 7 and open up CPU-z (latest version) to see a multiplier of 37. No matter what I try it's always 37. I've even started out changing it to 33 and yet every time I login it's 37. Running Prime 95 the cores don't heat much beyond 55c.

Should be noted the mobo has a veritable ton of settings. I've looked up several forum on overclocking a Sandy bridge and even the multiplier problem but nothing seems to help. I can change the boot order and other settings, but that multiplier is stuck at 37. Would be great if someone has the same mobo and a similar proc but any ideas would be appreciate. Especially considering the reason I bought the Cadillac mobo and the “K” proc was specifically for oc'ing.

Have had the vcore up to 1.5v which is max for the 2500k according to intel and still the thing keeps chugging along at a multiplier of 37. Maybe I have a bum proc? I was able to up the bclock to 105 but that's not going to get me anywhere special.
