Hi guys, so bad luck stuck me yesterday, my tv wallplug had a shortcircuit but was connected to my GPU via hdmi. My tv came back from the dead but not my beloved GPU (100% sure gpu faulty, everything else still working and using my very old gpu for now). So i had an msi 760 twinfrozr edition, my question is : should i buy back the same gpu?I have a 300$ budget or there's better alternative...Your opinions are more than welcome, Thank you! Old Gpu: Msi geforce 760 twinfrozr edition 2048mb 1085ghz clock speed

My specs: Mobo: Asus M5a97 r2.0
CPU: AMD Fx 8350 vishera 8core 4.0ghz not overclocked
Memory: Adata 2x 4gb 1660mhz gaming series
PSU: 750w Corsair TX750m
Drives: 1.SSD 64gb 2.Western caviar black 500gb

I think you could find a GTX 770 on that price range, also R9 280x (cheaper than the GTX 770). They perform the same with one of them leading depending on the game. If you play at higher than 1080p or plan to then the R9 280 would be better because of the 3GB. If you are at 1080p and not thinking of more then the 770 is the choice. Both are great cards, choose upon what you play and prefer to play at :)
