How do I connect an equalizer to Sony car stereo

With most equalizers you need to run the rca outputs to it the run rca cables from it to an amplifier. For what I think you're planning on doing you'll want 3 rca outputs (front, rear, sub). Then run ALL your speakers off of amplifiers. They should only be used for high end audio systems as for a mid/ lower end systems the money is better spent elsewhere.
