how to know if my lap top came with windows 8 copy and if its can i restore it cuz i lost it ,, I got it without windows so is there a way to find out if it has one

When you turned it on for the first time, what happened?

normally there is a restore partition you can simply reinstall the OS as it was originally. If that partition has been formated you will need to re-install windows using a dvd or usb stick.
