Mainly will be doing the following:

1. Streaming from Wii U, Wii or Nintendo consoles/handhelds (including vintage NES, N64 SNES, Gamecube consoles) on Twitch @40-60fps using XSplit or Open Broadcast Software (OBS) and using capture cards such as elgato or avermedia

2. Video Editing and then uploading to YouTube

3. Using emulators such as Dolphin

Not really doing any PC gaming currently outside those on the emulator, however, would like to have a system capable of playing Steam games smoothly in the future

Considering the following units (links to the systems on Best Buy and Amazon below, but not affiliate links):

1. Dell - XPS Desktop - Intel Core i5 - 12GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive (i5-4460)
2. Asus - Essentio Desktop - AMD A10-Series - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive (AMD A10-6700)
3. Asus - Essentio Desktop - 12GB Memory - 2TB Hard Drive (AMD FX 8300)
4. CybertronPC Borg-Q GM4213B Desktop PC (Green) (AMD FX-4130 3.80GHz Quad-Core | AMD 760G Chipset | 8GB DDR3 | 1TB HDD)
5. CybertronPC Hellion GM1213A Desktop (AMD FX 6300 3.50GHz 6-Core; AMD 760G Chipset; 16GB DDR3; 1TB HDD)

I've seen specs for gaming computers as they relate to games like Skyrim, FarCry, BF, LoL, WoW, etc., but not quite sure how those compare to what one would need to do what I've specified above. Seems like those games would require heavier duty systems than what I'm looking for, but not really sure, hence my questions.

Looking to purchase this weekend for my son's birthday -- thanks in advance for your input! :)

Choose #3 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-essentio-desktop-12gb-memory-2tb-hard-drive/5818001.p?id=1219159703994&skuId=5818001&productCategoryId=pcmcat212600050008 because it has a lot og good stuff in to go with it but believe me I have had an Asus and they are really good it may be a little pricey, but you will have a good computer, streaming to Twitch would be fine on the Asus computer and I'm don't know about emus that much, but I can open lots of virtual machines so you should be good with that and video editing would be great as well overall the Asus computer is your best choice espically for gaming Avermedia is a really good capture card and will work great with your Asus computer along with Steam you should be good to go!
