for gaming, build 1.

1, if I must choose. All those builds are have issues tbh. The power supply in build 1 is of immediate concern.

The first one. But still not as good as my linked one.
The second one would have driver problems, and that extra GPU is USELESS!!! (well, pretty useless.)
The third one skimped out on the GPU.

Even so, here's something that would win against all three:

EDIT: I notice that everyone's builds include mail-in rebates. I like to leave these off usually as most people don't bother with them but this comes to $521 with rebates

Would it work better with the x4 750K, a cooler and a better GPU?
September 9, 2014 8:57:26 PM

There's hybrid crossfire you can use.

Yes, this is PRECISELY what I'm thinking. It's Cape Verde GPU Crossfired with another Cape Verde.

Not worth it, tom's did a review on hybrid crossfire a while back and the results were disappointing. Same performance, artificially inflated fps.

It would be better to just get an Athlon X4 860k and upgrade the graphics card to an R7 265.

6300 + r7 260 is a good pair for 720p gaming. for 1080p you will want at least an r9 270(x)
