Hi guys. I am brand new to PC gaming and wanted to build my first computer. I intend on playing alot of games on high qualities, but don't want to spend a ridiculous amount for my first build. Is this a good first time build?

CPU - AMD A8-5600K Quad Core @ 3.6 gHz

Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda 1TB 64mb cache

Monitor - ASUS VS Series VS247H-P

Motherboard - BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85S3

GPU - GeForce GTX 660 2GB DDR5

Power Supply - 750W

RAM - HyperX Fury 2 x 4GB

I also bought speakers, a headset, and a mouse and keyboard that I didn't list as well as an after market fan. Thanks!

Eh I'm not a big fan of the APUs. Especially when your pairing it with a graphics card. I would go with a FM2 processor(760K) and a FM2 motherboard. Then go with a R9 270X video card

How much better performance would I get from it?

You could probably play most games on medium settings with good FPS.
