Hello friends,
I'm planning to change the video card and where I live (Brazil) all cards are extremely expensive.
Found a R9 280x Vapor-X Tri-X for about USD$600.00 and a GTX 770 AMP! 2GB for about USD$550.00.

1-Which is better for overclocking ?
2-Which has better performance in games like Battlefield 4, Metro Redux, Tomb Raider and Watch Dogs ?
3-And I will have bottleneck with my i5 3330 ?

I play in 1920x1080 and I do not care for PhysX technology.

The 770 is the better gpu, and the fact that it is cheaper means you should definitely go for it. You will be able to use physx as well so thats a plus. The 770 will outperform the 280x in almost all games.

It won't be bottlenecked by your cpu, people use i3's with 770's and they perform fine

The 280x might oc better because of the better cooling, but the 770's oc'eing will still be great

3 Fans R9 280x Tri-X make a big difference in overclocking?
The game I play most is Battlefield. Which would be faster in BF4? I think the fans and the Mantle 3 can make a big difference to the R9 SuperClocked but can not find benchmarks comparing the two VGAs and the Mantle with DX 11.

If someone is reading have a R9 280x Tri-X, please post your averages in BF4 with Mantle and DirectX 11.

In bf4, the 280x will perform better. You can watch this video and it will show you dx 11 vs mantle on the 280x.

However, you won't be playing bf4 for the rest of your life, so I wouldn't prioritize getting slightly better performance over a card which will give you better performance in almost every other game

1) For overclocking I believe both are equally good.
2) For Battlefield the R9 will perform better but only slightly. The rest of the games are pretty equal and I am pretty sure the GTX 770 will perform slightly better because I will be buying one and done my research.
3) They won't bottleneck. So you will be fine.

Some things to dad to go with Nvidia.
- Take advantage of Shadowplay to record.
- Consumes less power but not much
