Which windows should i buy

I have a desktop with i3-3225@3.30 in Asrock H77M. Currently running UBuntu 13.10 LTS.
I have to install a windows and make it a dual boot today.
Which windows should I buy 7,8 or 8.1 ?
I am open to install latest as long as my hardware supports.
Appreciate any help.

I like 7 over the 8' due to its not as cloud based ,but it seems that's whats cool

I still use vista for email cause 7 and up is cloud based I guess if you want you stuff ''out there'' on the cloud go with 8

seems privacy is last on there list of things to put in a os [opinion]
and don't forget that mandatory account

You can also go to you account settings and click on 'Disconnect'. This switches your online account to a local account without any data lost!-- but what they don't say is to get that data you got to turn it back on

Looks like Windows 7 support will end soon, thinking of 8.1 will there be any hardware issue with my set up.

ya you just got to take it or do with out it and they know that it should be fine I don't use it and don't see me going over 7 until I cant use it at all just like XP but I still run it ..

just do what you can and feel whats best for you is all I can say
