Hi all

I am currently building a pc, and I am trying to find the right components.
I have talked to a couple of my friends, who seem to be disagreeing on whether AMD CPUs are good for gaming or not.
I would like some help with comparing and selecting the optimal components for my computer.
So far, I have been looking at following items:
MSI B85-G43 motherboard
Intel Core i5 4670K
Radeon R9 280X 3GB

Or these:
Sabertooth 990FX 2.0
AMD FX 8350
Radeon R9 280X 3GB

And the rest:
Corsair RM1000, 1000W PSU
Samsung SSD 840 500GB BK OEM
NZXT HUE RGB LED Controller 5,25 Bay
Cooler Master Seidon 240M CPU Cooler

So what would you guys recommend? Does all of the components fit together? And would you recommend the AMD CPU build or the Intel CPU build?

And another question? Has any of you any experience concerning the new Razer Chroma series?

FX 8350 would be cheaper and would perform equivalent
there wouldn't be any fps loss
yeah its true that intel processors have strong single core performance as compared to amd
but fx 8350 would do the job

My budget would be max $2000. But I come from Europe, which means that things may be a little more expensive over here (correct me if I'm wrong).
I will not be playing the most demanding games in the market. Stuff like HoN, SC2 HOTS, CSGO (where I would like to be without laggs at all) etc. I'm not quite sure, but I don't think that these "mid-tier" games are as developed as the newest games concerned multithreading. Again - correct me if I'm wrong :-)

But go ahead, I would like to hear what you would recommend :-)

Intel create a very solid cpu core than AMD but not all task Intel will win AMD FX 8 core perform close to I7 on Workstation task like photoshop/Autocad

The majority of the money will be spend on the GPU. But which specific processor would you recommend me? The i5 4670K?
And how is the FX 8350 compared to the i5 4670K? :-)
