Hi, i have finally got to use my new fx 8350 and i was just wondering about the temps. First off i was getting around 40 degrees at idle, so i then re applied the thermal paste and i am now getting around 35 degrees. I havent got a chance to run it under load yet but are these temps okay? or am i just being paranoid?

mobo: Asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0
GPU: R9 280x
CPU: FX 8350
PSU: XFX pro series 750w
HDD: WD 1TB
CPU cooler: Cooler Master hyper evo 212
Case: Zalman Z11
RAM: crucial tactical tracer 2x4gb, 1600

Thanks

I have an FX-8320 and get between 20-30C idle and 54C at load (up to 60-65C with a heavy stress test program). As long as the temperature doesn't get to or exceed 70C you should be fine, the FX Series chips get pretty hot compared to the Intel Chips. It also depends on your case airflow and room temp. I have a front intake and a rear exhaust (both 120mm) and my room is ~66F.

completely fine depending on your house temps run a stress test and see where you get as long as the temps stay under 62 on the cores(package)
