It's a Tier Three PSU,so I would consider upgrading it.Seasonic S12II Bronze 620W will be perfect.
The card is great.Highly recommend getting it with the PSU.^^

It maybe can,but I would wait those 2-3 months and save money to get both the PSU and the R9 280X.
The 7850 will hold till then, don't worry. ;)

First, the 280X draws a lot of power(around 320W at full load in Crysis 3,335W in FurMark).

PSU draws 77W and your other components around 30W.
Add that and you're looking at a power consumption at full load of about 440W.
Add 100-150W and that should be your PSU wattage, which would be 550-600W.
While it is enough on the paper, the Corsair VS550 uses cheap capacitors that can overload easily when playing games for a long time at once(2-3 hours),resulting in killing them, taking the GPU with it.
What you can do is get the Sapphire, but don't play intensive games till you get a better quality PSU.Don't get me wrong, you can play games, but don't play GPU intensive games and don't play for a long time(2+ hours).
Or just stick with the 7850 till you save enough money to get both the R9 280X and a better PSU. :)
