Hi Guys,

I just received my I5 4600k and decided to play with to see if it's a good one or not from oc perspective.

MB: Asus Z97 A
CPU : i5 4690k
Mem: GSKILL 8mo ( 4x2) F3 CL7
GPU : Ati 7780 1ghz
Ventirad : cooler master tx3 + 2 noctua nf b9 push/ pull

After several attempt it now run at 4.4 ghz rock stable ( so far after 1 hour prime95) at 1.120v ( reaching 1.136 at full load) temp sound acceptable to me , idle 32C to 35C , load prime95 60C to 70C with few peak to 82C.

To go further sound like i will have to change my tx3 for something better.

i'm happy with the chip 4.4 ghz was reach very easily with a limited increase in voltage , with the stock voltage (1.000 to 1.088) i was able to reach 4.3 ghz only raisng the ratio to 43.

So i was lucky with the cpu or is it just normal ?
Regarding temp the silver artic 5 have not reach his 200 hours break down so i would expect temp to decrease by 1 to 5C in a week or so.

Any advice to go further is welcome !;)
