Hi all,

Like the title states, I'm a beginner at PC building and would like some help upgrading. When I was a budget before, my friend gave me a build I could use and I went with it. It's okay, but games do not run at the quality I wish it would be. Now that I am not on a budget, I would like to upgrade my computer so that it will be able to run most games on max or very high settings. My main uses for the computer will be gaming but I am also interested in being able to stream as well.

Current Builld:
Case - Thermaltake Chaser A31 Gaming Case - White
Processor - AMD A6-6400K APU (2x 3.90GHz/1MB L2 Cache)
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H
Memory - DDR3-1866 ADATA XPG V2 [4 GB x2]
Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 - 2GB - Single Card
Power Supply - 500 Watt - Standard
Processor Cooling - AVC Liquid CPU Cooling System [AMD] - Standard 120mm Fan
Operating System - Windows 8.1

I was thinking about replacing my current processor with an Intel i5 or i7. Since im changing to new processor, I would also need a new mother board so I was thinking about going with Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H. This was all I have in mind at the moment. Would this be all I have to change or do I have to change more parts?

Thanks!

I custom built my computer off of ibuypower.com. It does not state which brand it is, but there are brands listed for other power supplies, so I am assuming the brand is ibuypower itself.
